This board does a good job of giving you the "race" feel that it is going for. A different card scale might help to prevent the extended stalemates that can occur.
This board is fun. Although I wouldn't exactly call the strategy "deep," there are a few ways that you can go with it, and that keeps both players on their toes.
I enjoy this board but definitely don't have the hang of it yet. It's interesting that a person who is "eliminated" can still have a come from behind victory.
It's actually deeper than I thought it was on my first playthrough. I didn't care for the board at first, but as I keep playing it I'm finding that I enjoy it more and more.
I like this board a little more each time I play it. I didn't appreciate how clever it was the first time around. If you think you don't like it, give it a second (and third) try.
